I am a visionary, always have been and
always will be. In my quest to discover how men and women before
me changed the world through their actions, teachings and lifestyles – I have
found that it always comes back to one thing, they were dreamers. They looked at their surroundings and they
knew that things could be better. The
desire for better propelled them to pursue a degree of greatness they didn’t even
know they possessed.
It is my vision that one day the stigma
for those who are adopt and those who are adopted will be eradicated. I hope to see an African nation and the world
that does not care about the DNA of a child and realise that in the great
scheme of things love is all that matters.
It is my deepest desire that my own children will not be treated any
different because of the fact that they are adopted.
No child should grow up in any
government system, it has been proven insufficient and detrimental to the very children
it is meant to protect. Of course there
are children who have a fighting spirit and they make it in spite of their
unfavourable beginnings however the conspicuous results of children who fall
through the cracks are visible in the affected children. I hope I am able to inspire my children to
dream because the fact that we are together is my dream that has come
true. If mine can come true – surely theirs
can.
